a little film about christmas.12/29/11
A little film about our Christmas — a party the night before (complete with tambourines and kazoos), an afternoon walk the day of, endless hours of sitting around the dinner table, and of course dancing. But most importantly, being surrounded by my sweet, smiling family members who insist on hugging and kissing at every arrival and departure, even when we see each other three different times in a day.
I love this! Your family looks so fun. Nan Nan drinking from the bottle..haha

such a beautiful collage of moments. what video editing do you use? i especially love technique you used to make it look like old film.
As always, your blog never ceases to amaze me in capturing the ordinary beautiful things. It inspires me the most of all my favourite blogs because the feel of your photos is what I try to feel.
This video was absolute perfection.

this is absolutely beautiful. you have such a gift :)
Family and time spent together around the holidays are the best.
What kind of camera do you use to make your films?
You have such a lovely and lively family. Everyone seems so cheerful, beautiful and genuine.. not to mention photogenic!
I never comment on your blog but am a daily lurker. It's so gorgeous; the pictures, the words, the sentiment. This video really struck at my heart cord. What a beautiful family. And a gorgeous-looking happy Christmas.
Keep up the spirit boosting work!
Love your films!! I too am a lurker, I feel, on your gorgeous blog – always interested in what you post. But the family films are my fave. I think you share so much of the love of your family it almost feels wrong to watch; like I read your secret diary or something! But if you're willing to share, we are grateful! That Christmas tree is beautiful by the way! Lou x
I use a Nikon D5000 to film and use iMovie to edit. :)

Your dad is a wizard! He plays nearly 10 intruments in this video :)
