Above, some shots and outtakes from a lookbook I recently worked on for Ann Ladson’s premiere jewelry collection. It was my favorite kind of project to work on, as it made sense from the beginning and came together very organically. Ann’s family house out in Rockville proved to be the perfect setting and the jewelry itself is beautiful — special enough to be dress-up jewelry, but comfortable and understated enough to be the everyday kind. Her pieces are dainty with an interesting edge; mixed metals, sweet raw diamonds, circle earrings, etc. I love it all.

Part two of this series up next, showcasing Ann’s studio and process.
Huge thanks to our stellar model, Becca Dupree.
