
As a lady of the slightly squeamish, mostly non-meat-eating variety, I always placed taxidermy in the “creepy” category without a second thought — that is, until I met Becca Barnet. Whether it’s an installation of five hundred bees or a cute fox with surprised eyes and a perma-grin, Becca’s taxidermy is beautiful, thought-provoking, and truly far from creepy.
