Franklin is the sweetest little town — and I’m just now, five years after leaving, starting to appreciate its charm. Long walks with my mom, through shaded paths to laid-back lunch spots, is my favorite way to do this. Plus it’s chilly here, so I am truly smitten.

    although i travel a lot (next week i’m going to vietnam, thank god), i always find truly happiness when i return home.
    My mum says the best thing of travelling is the return… :)

  12. i didn’t realize you were from franklin.. when my hubby and i visited nashville last fall, i spent a day in franklin while he was at a conference, and i fell in love. it is charming indeed, and seems like a lovely place to raise a family.

  18. Olivia, I have admired bits + pieces of your week for the last year or so when I would see your name and a photo pop up here or there. Today, i am just getting to glance at your blog. I just have to say, it is so inspiring to me. I just moved back to franklin from charleston (small world). while in charleston i realized my passion was in photography. seeing your posts makes me excited to get back and visit as soon as possible! xo sara
