I wouldn’t call myself a defiant person per se, but when my mind is made up… my mind is made up.
And although it made no rational sense to drive seven (and a half) hours alone two days before I was going to drive with Blake anyway, I did it. Only for Pond Island. There’s just a point when I can’t be away any longer.

Wow. stunning. if the sun really does make this place that pink, just…wow. i can see why you had to drive there; i would have done the same thing. and, i must say, i’ve been on “crazy” and impulsive trips myself, much to the dismay of anything logical. those moments–the unexpected and lovely things that must be felt here, must be felt now–are what keeps life interesting and wonderful.
