Before this trip to the Northwest, I had never seen a redwood in real life.
While in Portland, Blake and I spent a whole day wandering around The Arboretum, totally in awe.
Wow, that looks amazing! Your photos really capture the awe inspiring look of the place. Gorgeous!
Beautiful photos, as usual, Olivia! I remember feeling the same way when i visited muir woods for the first time. the size and beauty of redwoods is truly amazing. have fun on your trip!
The PNW is one of the places I cannot wait to see one day! Although I have to admit, I only had that urge after reading Twilight for the first time *blushes*
I’ve never seen them in real life before either. They are so beautiful and I love how you captured to light peaking through the canopies.
Having grown up amidst redwood trees, it’s always humbling to be in a fabulous redwood forest, such beauty! i lived in portland many years ago, such a wonderful town! glad you enjoyed your trip! xxoo
Oh how magical looking! :)

I live 10 minutes away from an arboretum and i love to wander around, so many beautiful unknown (to me) trees
That’s one place that is on my list of places to visit. An acquaintance of mine just came back from there as well with dozens of beautiful pictures. I’m in awe of them.
I Have never been there regardless of having lived in Portland. I must visit!

Gorgeous!! I think I’ll have to check that out when we’re in Portland next month :)
As a nature-lover like myself… trees are breathtakingly beautiful to me… but I remember when I saw my first redwood tree. Was actually just this summer… I was in awe. So majestic! And beautiful.
I’m glad you were able to stand among them! great photos. :)
I am honestly jealous
