Thanksgiving is drawn out all day around our house; hours of cooking in the morning, a beach walk to work up a bigger appetite, wine, Thanksgiving meal, hike up the dunes to work up an appetite for dessert, multiple desserts, eggnog, more wine, etc.
I am a firm believer that a beautiful view makes any meal taste better. Not that our colorful squashes, cheesy gratins, and cranberry dishes weren't delicious on their own, but paired with the salty breeze and gentle whitecaps on the water, it was easily one of the most perfect meals I have ever had.
