Charleston design firm Fuzzco is moving into a bigger building and they've turned the old space into a concept called The Pretend Store. Different things will be hosted there in the coming months, but for the month of October it's been taken over by Brooklyn-based lighting and design company Workstead (the NY times did a small article about it here). We attended one of their "Lantern Dinners" prepared by Tara Derr Webb and co. She called it a "naughty feast from Spain," and offered only rosé with supper (ideal). It was a beyond-special evening that lasted into the morning. And I still wasn't ready for it to end.
