burger up is my life.

Since our last visit to Burger Up, I have been building it up to the point where I was starting to doubt my memory. How could any restaurant actually be that good?

Turns out, it actually is that good. We went for lunch yesterday (we tried to go straight from the airport last week, but it was closed) and I fell even more in love with it. They just do everything right. Besides the fact that the atmosphere is perfection - fun, laid back, simple and beautiful, the truffled! fries! were even better than I remembered.

I want to eat at Burger Up every day for the rest of my life. I am scared for myself. (Something to consider: I do not eat meat, and a burger joint is my favorite restaurant. I think that pretty much says it all.)

I also got to see one of my best/oldest friends, which is always so nice. The minute we see each other, we are back in tenth grade swooning over boys in bands, eating snickerdoodle dough out of giant containers, and filming Harry Potter home movies.

P.S. Check out my guest post about chocolate vanilla bean cookies with a salty caramel glaze on the lovely Pennyweight blog today!
