There comes a time when the home where you grew up isn't really your home anymore. Driving into the low country as the sun was setting on Friday evening I felt such a sense of comfort, peace, and home.

It's always easy to start taking things for granted - people, places, daily routines, etc. Being gone for a month has reminded me what a special place Charleston truly is. I've never loved it more.
