music night at kudu.
red wine + pretty lights at kudu

This weekend, I took advantage of the amazing folksy-singer-songwritery music scene in Charleston that I've apparently been missing out on. We saw Michael Trent play at Kudu (an adorable coffee shop that now has music and drinks in the courtyard at night) as well as the beautiful, talented Jeanne Jolly (at a random English pub).

colonial lake.

I also spent some time gazing at Colonial Lake, missing my life pre-tree house living, and feeling a little sorry for myself (kidding, I swear).

laura + black bottom cupcakes

Although I worked all day Saturday, Laura and I managed to make a quick trip to the farmers' market to deliver a pumpkin cupcake to my heirloom tomato man.

I went to the second annual Virgo Party and ate too much homemade apple bread and sharp cheeses while watching Noodle play his ukulele (last year's Virgo Party here). There was lots of other gluttonous eating, drinking, and time spent with friends who I feel so lucky to know. Sunday, spent all day in my favorite coffee shop in the world while it was dark and rainy, was absolute perfection.
